Talita Guedes
Talita Guedes Duarte is a finance and capital markets lawyer with extensive experience in cross-border transactions and structured finance across Brazil and the United States. She is Vice President of Securitized Products & Lending at Morgan Stanley in New York, where she structures innovative financing solutions for institutional clients. Her career includes roles at Foley & Lardner LLP and more than a decade at Machado Meyer, one of Latin America’s leading corporate firms, working on mergers and acquisitions, securities, and derivatives. She also served as an International Associate at Milbank LLP, gaining global capital markets exposure.
Talita holds an LL.M. from New York University focused on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law, a Master of Laws in Corporate Law from Insper, and a Bachelor of Laws from PUC Minas. Her path—from early studies in the U.S. to her international legal career—reflects a commitment to intellectual rigor, discipline, and the belief that finance can support sustainable growth. Now based in New York, she brings to Do Good Law’s Advisory Board both deep technical expertise and a global, ethical perspective rooted in transparency, trust, and responsible innovation.
